Use this worksheet to review the five parts of a formal letter. They are the
- Heading--Include your address (house number/ street and city/state/zip) and the date.
- Salutation--You greet the one to whom you are writing. Most of the time it begins: "Dear ______________,".
- Body--Use a paragraph(s) for your message.
- Complimentary Close--Remember to say "good-by." Usually, it is "Sincerely," or "Love,".
- Signature--Sign (write in cursive) your name.
