These free homeschooling worksheets are for practice learning English. Use this one for the
verb
"give."
Remember "give" has three parts--give, gave, given
- Give--1) tells of something that happens now, 2) can stand alone
God gives us a free will.
- Gave--1) tells of something that happened in the past, 2) can stand alone
Father gave each of the children a dollar for the pony ride.
- Given--cannot stand alone (needs a helper verb)
