Please remember:

  • Begin an actual closing and signature of a letter 1) at the center of the page (or even a little further right--wherever you began the heading) and 2) a couple of spaces below the last sentence.

  • The first word of the closing begins with a capital letter.

  • The closing is followed by a comma.

  • Start your signature directly beneath the first letter of the closing.

  • Your signature (name), of course, is capitalized.
