An easy way to correct math is for you and your child to work together on it. You call out the
answers
while he checks his paper. (Naturally, you know the answers to these problems, but the answers are provided for your convenience.)
Then he should immediately rework any missed problems.
If you see that he doesn't understand the concept, get any familiar items to show him. Demonstrate 7-4, for example, beginning with seven blocks, then ask him to remove four of them. How many are left?
