__________Mail all required papers to the school (if you use a program).

__________Complete all required documentation for the year.

__________Pack all work in a study plastic tub. Label with year, names, grades.

__________Straighten classroom.

__________Make final decisions about courses for the upcoming year.

__________Order books and any equipment (eg. science experiment materials.)

__________Clean the classroom thoroughly.

__________Do any repairs, painting or decorating.

__________Prepare lesson planner.

__________Begin to write lesson plans.

__________Take each child supply shopping. *Hint: Buy in bulk. It's cheaper and makes the school year go more smoothly.

__________Make daily your schedule (time and subjects--eg. 9:00-9:30 -math).

__________Make schedules with times and subjects for each child.

__________With fanfare, have the students open their new books.

__________Arrange in classroom all books and supplies.

__________Anything special--(I copy the lessons plans for each child so he can keep track of his assignments.)
